Fall -Pumpkins-Harvest

There is just something about Fall .....
The leaves, the colors, the crisp cool air, and pumpkins...
Yes, those big orange gourds we love to carve, paint and of course, to eat!
Fall screams pumpkin pie, pumkin roll and lately pumpkin latte ... :o)
The smell of nutmeg mixed with pumpkin, is oh.. so heavenly, on a cool Autumn day!

We (in our house) are moving toward less porcessed foods and so do not be surprised if I post recipes later that are healthy as well as appealing!

Yes, I know the cars are in the way, but still isn't the skyline gorgeous!
When I was driving home the opposite direction a few days ago, after some heavy rain.
The side of the mountain was covered in shades of burnt umber, reds, yellows, browns,chartreuse and pine greens with fog rolling up the mountain behind the colorful landscape.
It was breathtaking!!
To say that it was incredibly beautiful is such an understatement! What an imaginative vibrant creator we have !
